Steady-State Analysis of Electric Machines Using the TP-EEC Method Based on Time-Periodic Conditions in a Rotational Reference Frame

This paper proposes a new convergence acceleration method specialized for the magnetic field analyses of synchronous machines based on time-periodic explicit-error-correction (TP-EEC) method. The proposed constructs an auxiliary equation error correction in dq rotational reference frame to convert fundamental harmonic component into DC component. conversion enables us perform using TP-EEC at intervals arbitrary number time steps. effective were investigated practical interior permanent magnet motor (IPMSM) models. Moreover, superimposed problems, such as PMSMs with open-end winding, examined. Numerical results verified effectiveness method, and smaller could significantly improve characteristics transient analysis when high-order components small. Furthermore, by adopting 1/6 period interval steady-state solution be obtained precisely, even problem that included many components.
